RINK RULES + CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Rink Rules:

Skate/Blade at your own risk: All skaters and rollerbladers assume their own risk and are responsible for their actions while on the rink. Whilst all care is taken to ensure your safety, patrons are reminded that they rollerskate and rollerblade at Rollerrrama at their own risk.

Wear safety gear: Rollerrama recommends using safety gear, which, when in stock, is available for purchase from the office, or else can be hired from the skate hire counter. If you make use of your own safety equipment, patrons are reminded that they do so at their own risk. Full responsibility is taken by the skater/rollerblader if for any reason the safety equipment fails or is inadequate.

Follow rink staff instructions: Skaters must listen to and obey any instructions given by the rink staff, including announcements and directions for safety (e.g. to slow down or change direction).

Keep moving whilst on the rink: Please do not stand still or lay on the rink floor. If you desire to stand in a group and chat please do so OFF the rink. In addition sitting or leaning over barriers is not permitted.

Parents please supervise your children: Please ensure that you supervise your children at all times. Whilst our staff are always attentive to the requirements of the kids, it is YOUR responsibility to know where your child is at ALL times. Please assist your child if he/she

Stay with your child: Children aged 12 years and under MUST have a PARENT or ADULT present with them whilst they are rollerskating or rollerblading.

Report suspicious behaviour to Staff or Management immediately.

Keep the area where you are seated tidy and clean: Place belongings, skates/blades and bags tucked away or in designated storage areas, allowing people to safely pass. N.B. Please keep all exits from the skating rink clear at all times.

Repsect our staff: - they are here to assist you, so please be respectful of them and abide by the Rink Rules so that we can all enjoy a safe and relaxed environment at Rollerrama.

Ask for help if required: If you're feeling unsure or need assistance, don't hesitate to ask a rink staff member for help. They're there to support you and make sure you have a great time.

No outside food or drinks: At Rollerrama we have a kiosk provided for you to purchase coffee/tea, cold drinks and snacks. Bringing food or drinks from outside IS NOT allowed and you may be asked to place such items in your car. (Birthday Parties using the self-catered option are excluded from this).

No food or drinks on the rink: To prevent accidents and keep the rink clean, please enjoy your snacks and drinks in designated areas off the skating surface - thank you!

No smoking or alcohol in the building: Smoking and the consumption of alcohol or illegal substances are not permitted within the rink premises. If you are found to have such substances in your possession or be under the influence of them, you will be refused service and asked to leave - no refund will be given.

No horseplay or unsafe behavior: Skaters are expected to behave responsibly, avoiding dangerous stunts, excessive speed, or disruptive behavior that could harm themselves or others.

Be kind and respectful: Treat others the way you want to be treated. No pushing, shoving, or teasing. Let's create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone.

Watch out for others: Keep an eye out for fellow skaters and be aware of your surroundings. Avoid sudden stops or turns that might catch others by surprise. Let's make sure everyone has enough space to enjoy their time on the rink.

Skate in the designated direction: Skaters should always move in the same direction as indicated by signs or staff members to prevent collisions and maintain a smooth flow. This will help keep everyone safe.

No unauthorized items on the rink: Skaters should not bring any objects onto the rink that may obstruct or cause hazards to themselves or others.

Use skate rentals properly & return after use: If you're using rented skates or blades, please take good care of them. Return them in the same condition you received them, and avoid skating on surfaces that could damage the wheels or bearings. N.B. Please wear normal shoes when entering or leaving the premises - rollerblades/skates must be taken off before exiting the building.

Report accidents, spills and hazards: Any accidents, injuries, spills or other hazardous conditions should be reported immediately to the rink staff for appropriate action.

Respect time limits and leave as soon as the session is over: Please be mindful of the time a session ends and leave as soon as you can after the session - this allows time for staff to clean and prepare for the next session, especially during busy hours. Thank you!

Have fun and enjoy skating: Most importantly, have a blast! Enjoy the thrill of skating, make new friends, and create wonderful memories at our rollerskating rink.
Remember, these rules are in place to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. Let's work together to make the rink a fantastic place for everyone to have fun!
Conditions of Entry:

PLEASE NOTE: Your safety is our priority and to help reduce injury please adhere to our CONDITIONS OF ENTRY and SAFETY WARNINGS so everyone can enjoy our facility.

Chewing gum is NOT permitted on the skating rink. (As you can imagine it can be quite a hazard if it attaches to the wheels or finds its way onto the rink. If you are found to be chewing gum you will be asked to place it in the bin).

For hygiene reasons, SOCKS must be worn in the facility, especially when using hire skates/blades.

No food or drinks are allowed to be brought into the skating rink or onto the skating rink.

Whilst we encourage all types of wheeled sports, skateboards, scooters, or bikes are NOT permitted in the building or on the rink.

Respect at all times - bullying, abusive language or behaviour will NOT be tolerated.

If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, or have a medical condition or a pre-existing injury that may be impacted by rollerskating or rollerblading we recommend caution before you choose to skate or rollerblade as you do so at your own risk.

Children (or babies) are not to be carried in the arms of a skater/rollerblader at any time.

Please keep all exits from the skating rink clear at all times.

*Please wear normal shoes when entering or leaving the premises - rollerblades/skates must be removed before entering and exiting the building.

The management reserves the right to ask patrons and/or guests to leave the premises at any time.

If you or your child changes their mind once payment has been made please note that no refunds or re-entry passes will be given.

From time to time our staff may take photos for use in our social media platforms (FB and Instagram mostly) - by entering our premises you give permission for any such photos or videos to be used on social media - if you DO NOT desire or allow photos of your or your kids to be posted on social media please ensure you let one of our staff plus the manager on duty know in advance.

Please do not photograph anyone other than your own family and friends.

Do not help yourself to skates within the skate rental area.
Safety Warning:
Rollerskating and Rollerblading is a dynamic fast moving activity that can be strenuous and different to your usual level of physical activity. Please be aware that by using roller skates or rollerblades at Rollerrama and actively participating in this type of sport/recreation, you do so at YOUR OWN RISK.

People do fall down and occasionally run into each other as part of the experience of rollerskating or rollerblading at a rink. Rollerrama will and does takes all reasonable efforts to ensure our facility is safe and enjoyable. WE DO NOT however take any responsibility and will not be liable for any person in respect of i) any loss of or damage to personal property, ii) loss of life or personal injury (regardless of whether that loss, damage or personal injury is caused by any person’s negligence or otherwise). We include the owner and operator of Wheely Fun Pty. Ltd, Rollerrama and all employed staff and representatives.
